Provider overview
The current IGT gaming business has a specific corporate history that a generic provider profile can obscure. On 1 July 2025, investment funds managed by Apollo completed the acquisition of the Gaming & Digital business of the former International Game Technology plc and Everi Holdings. The combined enterprise continued under the IGT brand. The former group's lottery business became separately known as Brightstar Lottery.
The new IGT organises its products around Gaming, Digital and FinTech. The gaming division supplies electronic gaming machines, cabinets and game content, including well-known Wheel of Fortune titles and video poker. IGT PlayDigital covers internet-delivered content in regulated markets. Everi's financial technology and compliance products serve different operational needs from a slot's paytable.
IGT also supplies casino-management systems, including IGT ADVANTAGE. Those systems connect operator services and gaming-floor administration but must not be catalogued as playable pokies with independent RTP values. Similarly, an IGT jackpot network is not identical to every slot title that can participate in it.
In Australia and New Zealand, IGT demonstrates regionally targeted machines and linked-game products for gaming venues. This regional business presence should not be mistaken for unrestricted legal availability of IGT's online products to Australians. Individual titles and channels require separate attribution and regulatory checks.
