Game overview

Gold Star is a Red Tiger disco-themed game, dated 7 May 2016 on the developer's site. It takes place on a five-reel, three-row grid with twenty win lines, rather than a 2023 title built on thousands of ways to win.

The defining symbol is the travelling Gold Star. As it moves across the reels, selected symbols turn into golden discs. These discs act as mystery symbols which reveal paying symbols during a subsequent transformation. Red Tiger also describes a full-screen mystery event, which it presents as the game's Dance of Glory moment.

This is a relatively compact design that puts much of the feature identity into mystery-disc transformations and the dance-floor presentation. It should not be confused with other studio products named after stars, jackpots or jewellery; a familiar symbol does not establish a shared mathematical model.

The published game page reports a 96.18% RTP and a maximum payout of 888 times the stake. Those values are sourced to the specified Red Tiger game and do not mean that individual spins are guaranteed a particular level of return. The earlier database's year and 10,000-way claim have been removed.
